“The Hearts of Hope” Campaign in collaboration with Round Table Boikanyo Bug Drivers and Good Morning Angels, UNITY managed donations to the value of
R2.7 MILLION
These donations funded
67 OPERATIONS
that were performed on children at the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital, who were born with heart defects.
UNITY in partnership with Jacaranda FM and Good Morning Angels raised
R670 000
which provided
40 000 hot meals
to individuals in need on Mandela Day 2020

UNITY in partnership with SAME Foundation, raised funds to assist in the building of the Masia Maths and Science Academy. This will indeed be a life-changing project to the rural community of Masia, affecting over
2000 learners
from
13 communities.

UNITY in partnership with an SME in Soweto, Mandisa’s Market raised funds which enabled us to distributed over
400 000 meals
in
10 days
to waste picker squatter camps and depots in Greenside, at Sandton Field and Study Centre, Innesfree Park, Wembley Stadium and at Orlando Community Centre and Power Park in Soweto.

UNITY in collaboration with Jacaranda FM processed and managed donations in excess of
R1.6 million
for the Miles for a Million campaign. A campaign that funded multiple social impact projects supported by Good Morning Angels.

UNITY in partnership with SDI and The Product Managers raised
R225 000
which allowed for the distribution of
1300 PONCHOS
to the homeless and vulnerable people of Gauteng. These ponchos are water repellent, flame retardant, fleece lined and hooded. A gift that will give warmth not only now, but for winters to come

Unity, together with Spar and Jacaranda FM teamed up for this year’s Carols by Candlelight, streamed live in the comfort of listener’s homes. A total of
R307 000
was raised during the event. These donations go towards sharing the magic of Christmas and gifting the children of 11 different children’s homes across the country with Christmas presents.
